Camouflaged?

Can you tell I love that shirt? I recently realized (well, someone told me) that I've had it on, pretty much on every trip in the past few years (yes, even while skiing - see below). I just wanted to set the record straight that there are actually 2 different shirts that look similar: One has short sleeves and is yellow, the other has no sleeves and is blue.
My new occupation as a desk!!! (just in case this computer science thing doesn't work out) ...

Bro and I skiing ®

Moab, Utah (May 2002): On the left, that's me at "Top of the World". It is one of the most spectacular views I have EVER seen in my life. As you can probably imagine, it was VERY scary getting close to that ledge (pretend you don't see that rope tying me to the jeep ... what can I say ... I am a chicken when it comes to heights like that). On the right, I am sitting at the top of Gold Bar Rim ... it was a pretty nice drive up there. Unfortunately, I didn't have my truck since it broke down the day before (long story). In the pic below, that's me going up Lion's Back. That was one of the most intense driving experiences of my life!!! Lion's Back is a BLAST!!!

It is a bit hard to see in the picture but you may be able to make out the remains of a mangled up Toyota 4-Runner on the right in the shadows. It rolled off Lion's Back sometime in April. You can't imagine the feeling of driving up that thing with that Toyota sitting in there... knowing that one stupid move and you could end up right there (or worse, roll from the other side!).
On the right, that's me after climbing 320 steps to reach the top of the St. Peter's Cathedral in the center of Vatican (Rome). I have to say it was well worth the effort. The view is just amazing up there ... and no, I am not talking about myself :).

On the bottom, I am standing in front of the famous ruins (Forum) in Rome. So much history there ... unfortunately, I don't know much of it. I always hated History (in school). You can also see me inside the Coliseum in Rome. I was very very thirsty and as you can see I was wearing slacks (for the conference I was "attending"!!!).

Ifel Tower In Alaska
I am very proud of this picture (above). I got it just right on the first try. Gotta love digital cameras. I am also assuming that you don't need any explanations of where this actually is (hint: it is NOT VEGAS). That's me in ALASKA ... what an amazing place that is. Click on the picture to see a larger version of this picture. It happens to be one of my favorites. I found this nice place after driving for about 3 hours going south from Anchorage. If you like driving a lot, Alaska is the place to be.
